Mapping trip for Dominican Republic has begun. Landed in Santo Domingo last night and drove to Barahona. Stopped at a police check point. We thought they wanted a bribe. Nope all they wanted was for us to drive the police captain for about an hour to another town. We enjoyed his company and his snoring. Off to Haiti ...
